Inspire

 

Educated in London at a school run by Jesuit priests, since my youth I have been deeply interested in human behaviour and “what makes us tick”. This spurred exploration in various disciplines in an effort to gain an understanding of how to live fully while staying true to one’s self, to the spirit.

Inspirational radio segments

1980 – 1988: wrote, produced and presented a 5 minute inspirational programme – “Discover Yourself, Transform Your World” – aired daily on Radio 610 in Trinidad.

1982 – 1992: produced and presented a 2 minute inspirational programme – “Just A Moment” – aired daily on Voice of Barbados in Barbados. The series was co-written with students of the B.K. Raja Yoga Centre in Barbados and also aired on RJR, Jamaica and Radio St. Lucia.

1984 – 1989, produced and presented a 1 minute inspirational programme – “Thought for The Day” – aired daily on Rediffusion, Barbados.

1985 – 1990, wrote, produced and presented a daily radio segment – “Second Thoughts” – aired on CBC, Barbados.

Since 1992 I have been writing, producing and presenting the daily radio programme Motivation Minute aired on Music Radio 97 in Trinidad and Tips for Better Living on Radio St. Lucia.

 

Inspirational writing

I have written daily and weekly personal development columns for the Barbados Nation, Barbados Advocate, Jamaica Gleaner and the Trinidad Guardian.

The scripts from the radio programmes and columns have been published in book form as Thought for The Day, Just A Moment Vol.1 and Just A Moment Vol 2. They continue to be sold around the world.
